Spring’s Embrace

I’ve created this poem from the things that I love about the spring season. I love waking up to the chirping of the birds outside, the swaying of the trees, the warmer weather and the sense of peace I feel.

When the spring season is in the air, everything feels so full of life and inspiring.

I hope you enjoy this poem.

Spring’s Embrace

The dawn arrives with softer grace,

A golden hush upon the land,

The robins sing from branch and space,

Their music stitched by nature’s hand,

A promise laced in morning’s strand.

Canadian geese in flight above,

Their honks resound across the skies,

They weave the wind with ancient love,

Their wings like poems as they rise;

A rhythm bold that never dies.

The flowers bloom with fragrant hue,

Like secrets told in blushing tones,

Each petal drinks the sky’s soft blue,

And sways atop the thawed-out stones;

As spring reclaims her fertile thrones.

The river stirs with silken voice,

It sings through banks no longer bare,

It rushes on in newfound choice,

With mirrored sun and morning air,

Its laughter flows without a care.

The sun climbs high with warmer song,

It lights the path where young buds grow,

Where once the nights were dark and long,

Now shadows flee from golden glow,

And hope begins to softly show.

We walk the parks where green returns,

Where life reclaims each quiet space,

The world around us breathes and learns,

And in the bloom, we find our place,

Within the pulse of spring’s embrace.
